Pascal Knopp was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and began his extracurricular study of dance at Peabody Preperatory, part of the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, where his parents serve on piano and violin faculty, respectively. He attended the School of American Ballet summer program from 2008-2010, and began studying full time at SAB in 2010. Knopp began training at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at ABT in 2011, and joined ABT Studio Company in 2012.
Knopp joined ABT as an apprentice in 2013 and the corps de ballet in June 2014. His roles include Wellington in Frederick Ashton's Cinderella, Majordomo in Alexei Ratmansky's The Nutcracker and Lord Montague in Romeo and Juliet, as well as roles in all of the Company’s full-length ballets.
