Music for “…smile with my heart”, Fantasie on Themes by Richard Rodgers, is an original composition by Marvin Laird for three cellos, a piano and oboe. The musicians will perform on stage with the dancers.

incorporates the 2001 season’s ABT premiere of , My Funny Valentinea duet created for the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company.

“…smile with my heart” (lyric by Lorenz Hart from My Funny Valentine) has been created for American Ballet Theatre in collaboration with the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, which deeply appreciates the generous support of the Rodgers Family Foundation, the Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust and the Irene Diamond Fund.
